The Youth Showcase

Submit your film to the 2024 Youth Showcase!

Submissions are open for the 2024 Youth Showcase, a program of 10 short films by young people 18 years old and younger. We invite young filmmakers worldwide to submit short films up to 15 minutes in length and welcome all genres and styles. 

The Youth Showcase, happening at VIU’s Malaspina Theatre in beautiful Nanaimo, BC, on March 23rd, 2024, at 1 p.m, is a family-friendly program that allows young filmmakers to screen their films in a supportive, youth-centered festival environment and will conclude with a Youth Goldie Award Ceremony.

Submissions open until January 26th, 2024.
