Mia Golden is a Jamaican born, Canadian director, writer, actor, and producer whose background as a counsellor allows her to
delve deeply into her characters. Mia can not get enough of film life since being bitten by the bug back in 2012. She joined
Victoria’s film society Cinevic in 2013 to learn as much as she could about this creative medium (she didn’t realize it was never
ending) Mia has written, directed and/or produced several films including short films, both narrative and documentaries, as
well as the feature film Fragile Seeds, now on AppleTV, Tubi (and Prime in the US and UK). Mia has received several awards
for directing and producing and has several films in various stages of development.
