The Youth Showcase

The 2024 Youth Showcase, happened virtually and in person at VIU’s Malaspina Theatre in Nanaimo, BC, on March 23rd, 2024, at 1 p.m. 

Our Youth Selection Committee was so blown away by the films submitted that they expanded the program to include 17 films instead of the original plan of 10!

The program of shorts included a mix of comedies, dramas, documentaries and everything in between by filmmakers 18 years old and younger,
